Alien Intersection: Blender 2.93 Geometry Nodes Mograph Tutorial
In this new tutorial series I show you how to make a procedurally animated mograph scene with a scifi theme. I cover a lot of ground using many of the new geometry nodes features in Blender 2.93. Some topics that are covered are:
- creating procedural motion using a noise texture
- using the attribute proximity node for mograph effects
- combining geometry nodes with the standard modifier stack
- creating a procedural stylised rock wall and texturing it
- using the spreadsheet editor when creating node networks
- creating node groups with geometry nodes
This is an in depth series running over 70 minutes in length, and is aimed at an intermediate user of geometry nodes. A familiarity with geometry nodes and Blender in general is recommended. It could be used as an introduction to geometry nodes for a more technically minded user that is familiar with other node based systems.
The following files are included:
alien_intersection_1_metal_spheres.mp4
alien_intersection_2_grass.mp4
alien_intersection_3_wall_geometry.mp4
alien_intersection_4_wall_texturing.mp4
alien_intersection_5_orbiters.mp4
alien_intersection_6_rendering.mp4
Blend project files are included for each of the 6 videos.
72 minutes of video tutorial split up into 6 videos, with blend files for each section
